About the Story
Set in New Orleans in 1898, “Roux-lette” is a historical police procedural following Superintendent Charles Roux as he solves the mystery behind a gambling ring—and implicates his own department in the process. This novelette is currently being revised at 8,000 words and will become available in late 2023.
